後翅の赤い斑紋が特徴（春型は白い斑紋）で食草はエノキとありますが 当地では、熟し落ちた柿を食していました。 この蝶は大陸から人為的に持ち込まれ「要注意外来生物」に指定されていて、駆除対象なのだそうです。
